Three short novels by Richard "Last of the Beats" Brautigan, written in the 60s and 70s. "Confederate General" is his first novel, "Dreaming of Babylon" is a tongue in cheek detective novel and "The Hawkline Monster," the best of the three, is a kind of surreal, gothic Western. Also check out "Trout Fishing in America."
