About the Author
Carole Stott has combined her writing career with bringing up a family since 1989. She has written a number of popular astronomy books for both children and adults including Eyewitness Explorers Night Sky, Pockets Space Facts, Eyewitness Space Exploration and Action Books: Fly The Space Shuttle. As well as these she has written specialist books and articles for academic journals.
Giles Sparrow has been a professional science writer since graduating from Imperial College, London. He has written extensively for adults and children on topics ranging from astrophysica to palaeontology, and was a major contributor to DK's Space Encyclopedia. He was also a contributor to DK's How the Universe Works.
