The writing of Israel's first Chief Rabbi, Abraham Issac Kook [1865-1935], are authentic classics of Western spiritualily. "The Lights of Penitence, the Moral Principles, Lights of Holiness, Essays, Letters, and Poems" were selected from Rabbi Kook's prolific literary legacy and ably translated and introduced by the Forest Hills Jewish Center's Rabbi Ben Zion Bokser. Now a larger public can learn from this foremost Jewish philosopher and kabbalist.
