With proven pedagogy that emphasizes critical-thinking, problem-solving, and in-depth coverage, New Perspectives helps students develop the Microsoft Office 2013 skills they need to be successful in college and beyond. Updated with all new case-based tutorials, New Perspectives Microsoft Excel 2013 continues to engage students in applying skills to real-world situations, making concepts relevant. As always, New Perspectives improves learning outcomes and transference of skills by helping students understand why what they're learning is important.

Book News Annotation:

A team of writers introduce students to the latest release of the proprietary spreadsheet program, emphasizing critical thinking and problem solving rather than just the mechanics of operating the software. They cover formatting workbook text and data; calculating data with formulas and functions; analyzing and charting financial data; working with Excel tables, pivotTables and PivotCharts; managing multiple worksheets and workbooks; developing an Excel application; and working with advanced functions. Windows 7 or Windows 8 is required. Annotation ©2015 Ringgold, Inc., Portland, OR (protoview.com)
