Publisher Comments:

As new techniques and methods are developed in the field of cosmetology, new words are created that become a part of cosmetology terminology. In this regard, Milady's Illustrated Cosmetology Dictionary, 2nd Edition is comprised of words and phrases that are used in connection with cosmetology and are defined in their sense of relationship to anatomy, cosmetic chemistry, electricity, dermatology, esthetics, hair structure and chemistry, nutrition, color, massage therapy and professional skills. This dictionary presents current terminology designed to provide cosmetologists with a practical, comprehensive reference that is professionally correct. It expertly serves the needs of today's students, teachers, managers, salon owners, and practitioners. It is also an ideal classroom instruction instrument for preparing students for state board licensing examinations.
