Chicago, Illinois: University of Chicago Press 1942 1st Edition 701 pp. Fully bound in sienna brown cloth with Apache wheel device blind stamped to front board and lettering blind stamped to spine. Includes 12 black and white photographs, black and white illustrations, tables, charts, a fold out map, twelve appendices, and an index. Front board shows a 1/8th inch open tear at top near spine; previous owner's name in pen at top of front free endpaper; light foxing to endpapers and interior pages are a little toned. Original, unclipped dust jacket shows some wrinkling at top of rear panel, a three inch open tear at top of spine panel, as well as another half inch open tear on the right of the front panel near the front flap's fold.
