About the Author

Dave Isay is the founder of StoryCorps. He has worked in radio for more than two decades and has won nearly every honor in broadcasting, including the Peabody Award, the Robert F. Kennedy Award, and the Edward R. Murrow Award. His previous books include the first StoryCorps book, Listening Is an Act of Love. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
