Woody Allen! His name alone will cause ripple effects across the movie spectrum, but his true genius is rooted in his writing skills. "Getting Even" has an athletic non-chalance throughout, with a certain sprezzatura to the language guaranteed for repeated use.
I've taken this book with me on every vacation, across borders and oceans, and maybe even one day on my first galactic trip. Allen is a humorist-philosopher-assasin!
