Whether you're planning a trip or thumbing for facts in the field, Basic Essentials books tell you what you need to know. Discover how to read a rapid and maneuver in the river current, paddle a kayak efficiently and with control, become a safe, responsible river runner, perform self-rescue and assisted-rescue techniques, learn rolling techniques key to whitewater kayaking and much more.
