From the author of the multimillion-copy international bestseller Earth From Above comes a moving and brilliantly photographed new book. Home, scheduled to release in conjunction with a film of the same name, is a stunning visual odyssey. A globe-spanning exploration of the planet, complete with Arthus-Bertrandand#8217;s unforgettable images and an informative text by the team at Good Planet, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable development, Home is a celebration of Earthand#8217;s beauty and an impassioned call to protect it from destruction. Compelling and defiantly optimistic, Home voyages through over 50 countries, considering the environmentand#8217;s current condition and factors which will play a role in determining its future. As Arthus-Bertrand says, and#147;It isnand#8217;t the 50 percentand#160;of forest that has disappeared thatand#8217;s important, but the 50 percentand#160;thatand#8217;s left.and#8221;
