This is a fantastic, approachable guide to midwifery care. Not the only book a midwife needs, but certainly a wonderful introduction and perspective. Warmly written and relevant for families, doulas, midwives, and anyone who wants to understand the perspective and practices of a homebirth midwife. I reread it regularly.
