About the Author

Barry Lopez is the author of fourteen works of fiction and nonfiction, including Artic Dreams, About This Life, and Light Action in the Caribbean. He lives and works in Oregon.

Terry Tempest Williams, a native of Utah, is the author of numerous fiction and nonfiction, including Refuge: An Unnatural History of Family and Place, Leap, and Red: Passion and Patience in the Desert.
