Publisher Comments:

Ian Avi takes us on an electrifying roller coaster ride of his own personal neurosis. This dark comedy is an easy read with short chapters and a story that will get you hooked. Ishmael H. Shannon III is an anti-hero that anyone in our generation can relate to. His trials and problems are effecting all of us as well and all he wants to do is cope with this crazy world. Society tells him that prescription pills are the way to go. His hilarious adventure will keep you interested to the last page.

Review:

"I loved the colorful characters and his raw writing style..." Pete Cornett of Floater

Review:

"Fast paced read ...characters that you care about as well as those that horrify you...what was real, what wasn't, and what might have been...explosions, insanity, sex, and a reality that leaves more questions than answers. The book was over too soon." Chris, doorman at the Goodfoot

Such a great book. Fast, easy read. I am insane, I guess, because I could relate with the story so well. The book makes you wonder about the extent of Avi's hardships over the years to be able to write such a book. It puts in words perfectly, some of the problems with our society today, in a dark, semi sarcastic way. Laugh outloud funny. Raw and Gritty.
