andlt;b andgt; In this gritty novel from the author of andlt;i andgt;Exit Here andlt;/iandgt;and andlt;i andgt;Dead Endandlt;/iandgt;, love is a high-priced and dangerous game: Play or be played.andlt;/bandgt;andlt;BRandgt;andlt;BRandgt;Alexander didnand#8217;t believe in love at first sight until he met Patti. Sheand#8217;s the kind of girl you hear about in songs: gorgeous, feisty, and dangerous. Being with Patti is better than any high, and he canand#8217;t live without her.andlt;BRandgt;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp; But Alexanderand#8217;s not the only one who wants to be with Patti. Burke ruthlessly takes what he wants and will kill to protect what is his. And he wonand#8217;t let Patti go without a fight. If Patti and Alexander are going to be together, their love will come at a steep price. Because some promises are meant to be broken, and not all debts can be paid in cashand#8230;.

This book is fantastic! I picked it up off of a whim and I couldn't have been more pleased. It's not your average story. Lots of twists and turns will keep you engaged and hooked. Patty and Alexander's story will force you back to a simpler time. Jason Myers did a fantastic job with scene setting and charter description that it becomes easy to be enveloped in the story. It kept me so engaged that I went back and bought every other book written by Jason Myers that I could find. Amazing book, fantastic author. Definitely worth a read.
