Whenever I'm in a peevish mood, dragged down by the complexity and stress of day to day life, I put in this dvd and am transported to a peaceful, kind place. The scenery is beautiful in this dvd and the story is simply charming. You'll love Anne and root for her throughout her many adventures and mishaps. She grows from an awkward child to a sturdy young woman. She is one of the best role models out there for today's young girls. I HIGHLY recommend this dvd.
