About the Author

Bethany Barratt is currently an assistant professor of Political Science at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Her research includes human rights, foreign aid, and US and British foreign policy. Her most recent book is Human Rights and Foreign Aid: For Love or Money? (2007). Dr. Barratt has also been an instructor at the University of California, Davis, and San Quentin State Prison.
