I liked this book but I gave it a three because I felt the main character could use more depth.

Whenever I'm feeling down, or just in need of some comfort, I turn to Sharon Shinn. This book of hers is one of my favorites. The characters are appealing, and the story combines fantasy, romance, and adventure (all my favorites!) into a satisfying whole. Highly recommended for a rainy Saturday spent in bed.
