Additionally, the first chapters of the book will introduce the reader to concepts in DotNetNuke like modules, pages, and skins to give the reader a reference point for DotNetNuke as a content management system.

Following this the book briefly goes into the installation process and options for installing DotNetNuke, as well as requirements. Chapter three goes into the basic administration functionality for DotNetNuke websites, and then chapter four covers the content management fundamentals for all DNN sites.

Once this foundation is in place for the reader, we get into practical applications of DotNetNuke. By walking through a variety of use cases, chapters five through eight will discuss implementation strategies and configuration decisions for the following sites: personal website, team or club community, small business, and an enterprise solution. Each of these chapters will discuss the administration decisions applicable to the use case, and build upon each other as the complexity of the implementation will progress from case-to-case.

The final chapters will elaborate on various advanced topics relevant to all use cases. Topics will range from advanced installation options to detailed administrative features.
