Car Talk: Hatchback of Notre Dame CD: More Car Talk Classics Cover

Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

These are calls that Car Talk listeners remember and want to hear again...and again. Like the one from Dave from Bemidji, who took a barbecue grill to the underside of his Cavalier. And the one from Morley Safer (yes, that Morley Safer), trying gallantly to defend his Peugeot. And the one from John, who called from Hawaii. Actually, 700 miles over Hawaii; John Grunsfeld is an astronaut. This new collection features 10 calls, each one a classic if by "classic" you mean "memorable."

Synopsis:

The Hatchback of Notre Dame includes many memorable Car Talk classics, including Morley Safer of CBS's Sixty Minutes, displaying a downright embarrassing obsession with his Peugeot, and space shuttle astronaut John Grunsfeld, who calls from Hawaii. (Well, 700 miles over Hawaii, actually). And, there's one of Click and Clack's all-time favorite callers, their pal Dave from Bemidji, sharing the sordid tale of his journey to Alaska.
