Publisher Comments:

The most common complaints of today's cell phone users are poor reception, a lost signal that cuts off a call, and the inability to put a call through. Today's wireless providers struggle to ensure these problems do not occur. This book is an in-depth examination of two of the hottest research areas relating to these challenges: location management and mobile wireless routing.

Book News Annotation:

Focusing on routing protocols and medium access control techniques for mobile ad hoc networks, this book examines mobility, location management, paging, and radio resources for cellular networks. It discusses the technology's history, its current state, and future prospects from both single-hop and multi-hop mobile wireless networks. The authors include consultants and computer scientists with the Indian Institute of Management. Annotation (c)2003 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)

I'm very interest just from the book title, because I'm looking for the book about my research topic, not just journal. Now, I want to understand about location management in mobile communications. Until now, I haven't had a book like that yet. I'm writing my research proposal for apply to PhD program too, and I really need this book.
