Synopses & Reviews
The Moleskine Pocket Reporter notebooks are a new addition to the classic hardcover Moleskine Journal line of books, offering a style inspired by the journalistic tradition. The Reporter notebook has a hard cover that flips opens at the top, characteristic of reporter's notebooks.
Like the classic, black Moleskine Journals, the Reporter Notebooks are made with a durable thread-bound binding, acid-free paper and the now famous black 'moleskine' textured cover.
Size: 3.5 x 5.5 inches (9 x 14 cm)
The only difference between the Reporter and a traditional Moleskine is the location of the binding at the top of the book. Thus, the elastic closure, which helps keeps the book closed when not in use, is located at the bottom of the book (about 1" from the base). In addition, the expandable accordion inner pocket inside the back cover is oriented vertically, (opening is ~3.5").
Each Moleskine Reporter style journal has a rigid, durable oilcloth bound 'moleskine' cover and sturdy thread bound binding at the top of the book. The vertically align Reporter style notebooks are filled with fine Italian acid-free paper pages and have a built-in elastic closure located at the bottom of the book that holds the sturdy cover closed when not in use. Like all hardcover Moleskine books, it has an expandable accordion pocket in the back made of cardboard and oilcloth for holding tickets, notes and clippings.
Each book includes a short history of the legendary Moleskine notebook printed in English, Italian, French and German (found inserted inside the back cover of the book). Moleskine journals are made in Italy.
The Moleskine Pocket Squared Reporter notebook has a cover that flips opens at the top, 24 detachable pages at the back for quick notes on the spot and can be used both horizontally and vertically. Every Moleskine product is thread bound and has a cardboard bound cover with rounded corners, acid free paper, a bookmark, an elastic closure and an expandable inner pocket that contains the Moleskine history.
