Synopses & Reviews
Where is Santaand#8217;s hat?
Tomorrow is Christmas and Santa Clausand#8217;s hat is missing! Heand#8217;ll have to wear a new hat to the North Poleand#8217;s annual snow festival, but luckily Mrs. Claus has a chest full of lively options for Santa to try on and wear instead.
While sorting through hat after hat, Santa imagines being someone else for a change. Little did he know there were so many characters to choose from! With the help of his merry dogs, Bell and Bow, will they be able to find Santa the perfect fit?
"Santa may know who's been naughty or nice, but he has no idea where he left his trademark hat in this goofy, featherlight story from Bleck (The Longest Day: Celebrating the Summer Solstice). As Santa tries on various replacement hats, he imagines himself as a hockey player, cowboy ('Giddy up, Blitzen!' he shouts, as the reindeer rears on his hind legs), Sherlock Holmes — style detective, train engineer, and more. These imaginary scenes, portrayed with humor in Bleck's cheerful illustrations, are the best part of the otherwise flimsy hook on which this story hangs its hat. Ages 4 — 8. Agent: Lori Nowicki, Painted Words." Publishers Weekly Copyright PWxyz, LLC. All rights reserved.
