Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

Authors Eric Schlosser (Fast Food Nation) and Michael Pollan (The Omnivore's Dilemma) both appear in this documentary that looks into the food industry. Food, Inc. reveals the nature of the business that ignores the health of the American people in favor of profit.

Review:

"[A]n informative, often infuriating activist documentary....You'll shudder, shake and just possibly lose your genetically modified lunch." Manohla Dargis, New York Times

Review:

"[A] smart, expertly shot documentary....[The film] gives an eloquent array of writers, activists and farmers time to enlighten us about the perils on our plates, but now without offering hope for a safer future." Gary Goldstein, Los Angeles Times

Food, Inc will open your eyes to how our food is handled and created . It speaks truth and very knowledgeable. You will never think of swallowing just anything anymore. It will shock you and scare you enough to change your way of eating!

I read The book The Omnivore's Dilemma and also fast food nation by the same authors of Food, Inc. Their is
valuable information in all three. Every reader will learn about whats wrong in the food industry! IF only every human being would be so interested in what they consume when they eat and how it effects their bodys health.
