I loved these books as a child! Now, I'm buying them for my own children - and yes, I'm starting with Mossflower because it is the prequel to Redwall even though it's book 2 in the series. It was heart breaking when Brian Jacques died, these books were in part responsible for my love of reading. And I hope to pass that onto my kids.
