About the Author
Joseph C. Piscatella, the longest-surviving bypass patients in the U.S, is the author of five books including Don’t Eat Your Heart Out Cookbook, Choices for a Healthy Heart, Controlling Your Fat Tooth, Fat-Proof Your Child, and The Fat Gram Guide to Restaurant Food, which have sold nearly 2 million copies collectively. He has served as the only non-medical member of the National Cardiac Rehabilitation Expert Panel, responsible for developing clinical practice guidelines for physicians. He is a member of the American Association for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Mr. Piscatella is president of the Institute for Fitness and Health.
