Anarchist FAQ #02: An Anarchist FAQ, Volume 2 Cover

Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

Aimed at the curious and, as yet, unconverted, and covering topics from "Why do anarchists oppose State Socialism?" to "What would an anarchist society look like?" the two-volume An Anarchist FAQ stands as the go-to reference for what anarchists believe, what they want, and how they intend to go about it. Find out what all the fuss is about.

Iain McKay is the editor of Property is Theft! A Pierre Joseph Proudhon Anthology. He lives in London, England.

Volume 2 of the indispensable guide to the world of anarchist ideas.

About the Author

An anarchist for over twenty years, Iain McKay has been involved in many anarchist groups in the UK. He is currently a member of the Black Flag editorial collective, Britains leading (and longest-lasting) anarchist magazine. In addition, he has produced An Anarchist FAQ, which summarizes and explains anarchist ideas and history and an introduction to and evaluation of Kropotkins ideas on mutual aid (both published by AK Press). He also writes on a host of issues for Black Flag and Freedom, as well as on websites (primarily Anarchist Writers). He has recently edited and written the introduction to Property is Theft!, the first comprehensive anthology of Pierre-Joseph Proudhons writings (2011).
