INTO THE WILD is the first book in a long, amazing series about clans of feral cats. It is so enjoyable, so hard to put down! If you are going to start on this amazing journey with this first book, I suggest you go back to the map page and to the pages with the cat names and descriptions repeatedly while reading the story. It wioll help you in the long run because there are so many cat characters and it's hard to keep track of them all at first. The more books of the series that you read, the easier it is to keep track of which cats belongs to which clans, but at first it can be a bit overwhelming. Stick to it, though, cuz it's so worth it!
(Erin Hunter, the author, isn't a real person! There's at least two different people that are writing this series. If you look at the 'special thanks to' page, you'll find the +real+ name of the author!)

This book is a great story for almost any age. The way Firepaw trusted Thunderclan to take him in and give him a home. How he uncovered dark secrets and what he through to portect his new family. Anyone can learn a lesson about family, friends, trust and hope from this book. I have this book a few times and it's still amazing each time. It puts the purr in purfect.

Something wrestles in the undergrowth, your heart beats faster and faster until you can hardly control your fear. This is life for Firepaw, a young male cat that had dreamed of adventure in the forest before meeting the cats of Thunderclan. Before, he was a ''kitty-pet'' for the Two-legs, but now he has been taken in by the Thunderclan to become a Warrior. I think this book is a great read for readers that love cats, fiction, and adventure. This book really makes you wonder what might haunt the family cat?

"Review" by , "[T]he first exciting installment....Certain to please any young reader who has ever wondered what dreams of grandeur may haunt the family cat."
"Review" by , "Hunter debuts with a suspenseful animal adventure that will leave readers eyeing Puss a bit nervously....Teen readers will readily identify with Firepaw's strenuous efforts to fit into the group...and rejoice at the promised sequel."
"Review" by , "[S]pine-tingling....Intelligence notwithstanding, the cat characters are true to their feline nature, making this sure to appeal to fans of Clare Bell's long-popular Ratha's Creature (1983)...and also to followers of Brian Jacques' ongoing Redwall series."
"Review" by , "The author has created an intriguing world with an intricate structure and mythology, and an engaging young hero....This is not as elegantly written as Brian Jacques's Redwall series, but it's another option for fans of animal adventure/fantasy stories."
"Synopsis" by , Fire alone can save our clan...

For generations, four Clans of wild cats have shared the forest according to the laws laid down by their warrior ancestors.
