My favorite Le Guin. The best science fiction reflects the human condition back to us and these beautifully crafted stories of slavery and racism set on two alien worlds show us how hatred can destroy and how hatred can be overcome.

Ursula Le Guinn's talent is for writing books and stories that are life affirming, sacred teachings. This book is one of those books that gets under your skin, and painlessly heals what you didn't realize was not whole.
