I first read this book at recomdation of a therapist I had in 1991. I have frequently gone back to this book at various points on my life.... Through various healing stages.... As this is " life long healing folks". It has had a profound impact in my life. But as many other books and healing therapy has done for me, it is not the end all and be all. But it still holds up, and still has helped me after all these years, in my healing.

The most comprehensive book I've read for all stages of healing from childhood sexual abuse. This book is geared mostly toward women, but this does not diminish its usefulness for healing. Personally, I found it to be immensely helpful in my own journey.
