Publisher Comments:

The quest for true love begins at an early age, even among girls not quite ready for romance with a capital R. Introducing a brand-new line of books for girls, built upon the success of books for women.

Just as the Avon name means romance for adults, the name Avon True Romance will mean captivating love stories for the younger set. Written by renowned authors of adult romance with younger readers in mind, Avon True Romances have younger characters, innocent kisses, and all the excitement and heart of their adult counterparts. Exclusively historical, all the favorite periods will be covered: Regency, Western, medieval, just to name a few. There's something for every girl ready to be swept off her feet!

Gwyneth: In a brave but rash moment, she invites a thief into her home and launches a deceit aimed to save her beloved castle and village from certain ruin. Little does Gwyneth know her heart is also at stake.

The Thief: All Gavin has known is a life of lawless poverty in 1202 England. By agreeing to the lady Gwyneth's daring scheme, he begins to know a far different life — and to crave all it has to offer.

Synopsis:

In a brave but rash moment, Gwyneth invites a thief into her home and launches a deceit aimed to save her beloved castle and village from ruin. Little does Gwyneth know her heart is also at stake.

Synopsis:

Gwyneth

With her hand in marriage and the security of her beloved Haverleigh at stake, Lady Gwyneth is desperate. So when she comes upon a young man who might be the solution to her predicament, she does not hesitate to act, though it means entering into a dangerous deceit and inviting a thief into her castle.

The Thief

All Gavin has known is a life of lawless poverty. Left for dead and taken in by a very young, very determined lady, he has little choice but to entertain her request. Posing as a squire, he begins to train the farmers and craftsmen of Haverleigh in the art of combat. In doing so, Gavin begins to know a far different life — and to crave all it has to offer.

As Haverleigh is secured through their labor and collusion, sparks fly between Gwyneth and her thief. In a moment of rash indiscretion, a kiss nearly undoes them both. Love between a lady and a thief is unthinkable...unless the truth can remain hidden.
