A great book about the West. The title refers to a song about the Big Rock Candy Mountain where the bluebird sings to lemonade springs. The family in the book moves around the Western states, looking for, but never finding, the fulfillment of their dreams. The characters are finely drawn, and the plot primarily moves through the eyes of the son.

I've only just started reading it today, but it's actually captured my attention quite well! So far, it's really good. I'll give another review when I'm farther in or done...
