For people like me who are suckers for romance without too much in it, you should read this book. Remy doesn't believe in love and has had so many boyfriends she dumps because she thinks its time its over. Of course she meeets Dexter. Dexter is everything Remy would NOT want in a boyfriend. Yet she can't seem to get away from him. Remy starts to learn over time that you can't choose who you fall in love with.

I don't think I can explain how much I love this book. After I read this book I had to reed all of Sarah Dessen's books. Before I read this lullaby the only other books I would reed were the ones with the words " Harry Potter" in them. This book really started my love for reading and hope to become an author.

I recently readThe truth about forever, another Dessen novel, and decided i needed more. This Lullaby was just as good as the other, I even found myself more fond of the charcters in this book, especially Dexter, a fun loving muscian who isn't perfect.. but seeing it through Remy's eyes, he might as well had been perfect. I love Dessens books and can't wait to read another.

THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! ya ya i know most will think it's just another teen trash novel but it's so different, so unique, these characters do not follow the regular routinees of those popular cheerleading blondes you usually find in typical teen novels. you'll find yourself becoming attached to the characters without even knowing it. dessen has a habit of sneaking up on you; you'll be finished before you even know it and when you read the last line you'll be already dreaming up the next steps for remy.

"Publishers Weekly Review" by , "This modern-day romance narrated by a cynical heroine offers a balance of wickedly funny moments and universal teen traumas. High school graduate Remy has some biting commentary about love, including her romance-writer mother's betrothal to a car dealer ('He put one hand on my shoulder, Dad-style, and I tried not to remember all the stepfathers before him that had done the same thing.... They all thought they were permanent, too') and her brother's infatuation with self-improvement guru Jennifer Anne. But when rocker Dexter 'crashes' into her life, her resolve to remain unattached starts to crack. Readers will need to hold on to their hats as they accompany Remy on her whirlwind ride, avoiding, circling and finally surrendering to Cupid's arrows. Almost as memorable as her summer romance with a heartwarmingly flawed suitor is the cast of idiosyncratic characters who watch from the sidelines. There's the trio of Remy's faithful girlfriends, all addicted to 'Xtra Large Zip' Diet Cokes: practical-minded Jess, weepy Lissa, and Chloe, who shares Remy's dark sense of humor as well as Dexter's entourage of fellow band members, as incompetent at managing money as they are at keeping their rental house clean. Those expecting a Cinderella finale for Remy will find a twist consistent with the plot's development. Contrary to any such implication in the title, this one will keep teens up reading. Ages 12-up." "Synopsis" by ,
Just because Piper's birthday is on Valentine's Day does not mean she's a romantic. In fact, after watching her father and then her stepfather leave, she's pretty sure she doesn't believe in love at all. Then her friends concoct a plan to find them all Valentine's dates, and somehow Piper finds herself with the most popular guy in school. But true love never follows a plan, and a string of heartfelt gifts from a secret admirer has Piper wondering if she might be with the wrong guy.
"Synopsis" by , This "Publishers Weekly" Best Book of the Year from the acclaimed author of "Dreamland" is a captivating novel about a tough-as-nails girl and the unexpectedly charming boy who's determined to soften her up.
