Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

Fifteen-year-old Alys is not a witch. But that doesn't matter--the villagers think she is and have staked her out on a hillside as a sacrifice to the local dragon. It's late, it's cold, and it's raining, and Alys can think of only one thing--revenge.

Synopsis:

A human sacrifice teams up with the dragon meant to eat her.

I HIGHLY recommend buying this book. Located in the time of the Salem Witch Trials, Alys is being accused of being a witch. For those of you who know what happens to those women who get accused of being a witch-they choose the idea of offering her to a dragon who's been terrorizing the town (eating their dogs and horses and sometimes, a person) as a peace offering.
Overall, I would VERY much recommend this book.
