An unusal book, in that it is a murder mystery novel that, having once been read, loses nothing on subsequent reads. If anything, subsequent reads actually serve to give a deeper appreciation for the sheer genius of it. Easily the best in its genre.

32 years ago, at the age of 18, I read this book for extra credit in a British Lit class. I figured out whodunit, got an A on the report, and was forever hooked on Agatha Christie. This plot has been the basis for so many books and movies that Ive lost count, but the original is still the best.

This too was my first Christie. I must say I've been hooked on her writing since the very first time I read this book. It is an outstandingly intriguing mystery. Certainly Christie at her finest. No matter how many times you read it never gets old!

This is the first book I have read by Agatha Christie and it was incredible! Now, although I haven't read another one of her books, I have watched many of the movies based off of her books and look forward to reading more of her books. At first this book starts with introducing you to a ton of characters all at once, and it's a little difficult keeping them straight, but once you do this book pulls you in and keeps you wondering all the way up until the last page.
