Publisher Comments:

Matthew Bannon, a poor art student living in New York City, finds a duffel bag filled with diamonds during a chaotic attack at Grand Central Station. Plans for a worry-free life with his stunning girlfriend Katherine fill his thoughts--until he realizes that he is being hunted, and that whoever is after him won't stop until they have reclaimed the diamonds and exacted their revenge.

Trailing him is the Ghost, the world's greatest assassin, who has just pulled off his most high-profile hit: killing Walter Zelvas, a top member of the international Diamond Syndicate. There's only one small problem: the diamonds he was supposed to retrieve from Zelvas are missing. Now, the Ghost is on Bannon's trail--but so is a rival assassin who would like nothing more than to make the Ghost disappear forever. From America's #1 storyteller (Forbes) comes a high-speed, high-stakes, winner-take-all thrill ride of adrenaline-fueled suspense.

I have learned over the years to suspend belief when it comes to reading James Patterson's books. This book was just too much. Absurdity after absurdity with tons of "convenient" events to keep the plot moving. Sure, if you don't worry about that kind of stuff then this is the book for you. For me, this one was just too over the top.

Just a fair warning, this book has incest. Not only does it have incest, but extremely descriptive incest. I don't offend easily, but this was just too much. I wish I would have just stopped the book when the incest first appeared. I was hoping it was a one-time incident but I was wrong.

Overall, this book was just far too unbelievable for me. I wish James Patterson would just stick to writing books on his own like he used to.

As always, James Patterson writes a book that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I didn't want to put this book down from when I first started reading it. When I finally thought I had it all figured out, I read a little further and found out I didn't. It is great that he writes books with other author's, gives his books a little bit of a different twist.

I'm not a big fan of James Patterson, but I love Marshall Karp. So, I thought I try this read out hoping for a good read. What I found was a great read. If your looking for a travel book this is the one. Short, exciting chapters and edge of your seat reading. Before you know it, you'll be at your destination. And, if your looking for more you can always pick up Biggs and Lomax stories by Marshall Karp. You won't be sorry.
