Each chapter is divided into sections on specific tools and commands, and each section contains exercises for performing a specific technique. Sidebars give history or background information for specific features, and offer humorous stories about desktop publishing. Unfortunately, the book's two-column format, on a 7x9" page, squeezes screen shots and illustrations into one column, and many of the screen shots are too small to read easily.
