Nora Armstrong leaves Keniston, Ohio for the Big Apple. Her cousin Harlan runs a successful enterprise there that caters to the needs of the wealthy for pretty companions during "events." On her first night in New York, Harlan asks Nora to be "arm candy" to David Waite, head of the Waite Consulting Group. David goes this route because he is tired of shallow women after him for what he can do for them. She wants to say no to the idea that she is just a beautiful ornament attached to someone's arm. However, her cousin forces her to agree by placing her on the phone with the client.
Nora figures David must be a shallow person to turn to a paid escort. He thinks she must be a dumb model willing to sell to the highest bidder. Nora and David are instantly attracted and soon fall in love. However, a relationship that starts from an untruth will more than likely crumble into nothingness.
ALL OF ME is an enjoyable contemporary romance set to the backdrop of Manhattan's rich and famous. Readers will enjoy the simplistic story line that centers on trust being a critical element for lasting relationships. David is suave English who owns the city. Nora is Midwest suburb who feels overwhelmed by the city. Her cousin and his gay boy friend add a youthful feel to the overall novel. Patricia Ryan provides her audience with a jewel of a tale.
