It was slow going at first, but picked up and ended with more surprises than I had ever expected! Worth the wait!

I really liked this book because there were a lot of loose ends in the other books and Paolini really did a great job of referencing all of those points.

"Then he noticed the sky, and he gasped, for it contained more stars than he had thought existed. Red, white, gold, they lay strewn upon the firmament like handfuls of sparkling dust." This book will stay with you for weeks. The detail, and the breathtaking imagery... There is nothing like it. Inheritance is to books as Avatar is to movies.

This was a great book! Well worth the wait and now I finally know the green dragons name! It was bittersweet finishing this book because it was the last of the series, I always love the series conclusions but at the same time I want more of the story. I did feel a little tiny bit let down at the ending of this book, because of how it ended. I was happy with the rest of it and someday I will have to read the whole series again!
