Brilliant. This book exposes glaring problems in modern medicine. A comical satire it is a must read for anyone whether they be considering a career in medicine or are already in the game. Samuel Shem (Pen name) is a very well respected doctor in the health care community. This book chronicles the first year of an Intern and shares with the reader the successes and failures that they endure.
