Athletic Shorts is a collection of short stories that will touch the souls of readers both young and young at heart. Many of the stories are written from the point of view of an adolescent whom is facing a challenge of personal growth. Chris Crutcher is an amazing author who has the "written" power to hook his readers. Whether you are a sports fanatic or sports "un"enthusiast, you will find your heart and soul slowly being absorbed into each short story. Get ready to meet fictional characters that may have, at some point, played a role in your own life.
