This book is a fun adventure that holds its value at every age. I learned to read with this book, and it's still probably my favorite. There's nothing like an old standby for real reading enjoyment.

This whole series is great for young readers. The way the characters come to life and the descriptions of the battle scenes make you feel like your there. Though sometimes a little too lengthy with food descriptions, the book has great dialog and the way the author uses accents to separate character races and factions is fun to read.
