this is one of my favorite fantasy books, and one of my favorite YA books of all time. I love this story, it was a formative part of my youth and I have owned several copies through the years, because I reread it so much it fell apart. I thought I'd grown out of it, and donated it in my last move. Since then I've been craving it for years, and finally found an ebook version through Powell's so I can have this book in my life again whenever I need it! I hope you find that it fuels your imagination as it has mine!

Robin McKinley has a gift. She makes Harry feel so real as she goes through change after change. She really feels like she did live, did love, and did save Damar.
