i have to say that is is one of the funniest graphic novels i have read in a long time, graphic novels usually being of a more serious nature i loved just reading this light and humorous novel.

Truly original and one of the most enjoyable books of humor I have seen in a long time. It was great just reading out loud to friends and family. I really suggest giving this book a good look for the laughs and sometimes gross humor it brings. Loads of fun!!!!

Product details 96 pages Plume Books - English 9780452289567 Reviews:
"Staff Pick" by ,

In my many years of gallivanting through the forest with my dear friend Sasquatch, we've often discussed fictional portrayals of him in books and on film. Somehow, these depictions always miss the essential bigfootiness of my huge, hairy companion. But Graham Roumieu gets it right, and Bigfoot: I Not Dead finally lends the true, essential voice to a man-beast we've all come to know and love — even if no one can manage to photograph him in focus.

"Publishers Weekly Review" by , "Everyone's favorite fringe hominid returns in Roumieu's raucous follow-up to 2005's Me Write Book: It Bigfoot Memoir. Narrated by the grammatically challenged Bigfoot himself, this latest series of adventures finds the forest creature taking to the road 'like Kerouac,' doling out life lessons and observations on society. Tackling issues from global warming ('lower carbon emission by chase Bigfoot on floating log in river rather than truck, helicopter or hovercrafts') to crumbling communities (the squirrels in Bigfoot's old neighborhood 'now bury rock of crack instead of nuts'). Bigfoot is a brutally honest social critic. He also strives to set the record straight and debunk common myths: 'Bigfoot no grant wishes like leprechaun or genie' and when one hears Bigfoot stomping around the woods, help him out because 'Bigfoot not as confident as might first seem.' Roumieu's hilarious, effortless illustrations and handwritten text make each page a delight. Bigfoot is well on his way to becoming, as he outlines in his 'self improve' plan, the 'Oscar Wilde of the woods.'" Publishers Weekly (Copyright Reed Business Information, Inc.)
"Review" by , "Graham Roumieu's slender ode to the beleaguered mythological fringe hominid is a quirky, uncategorizable delight."
"Review" by , "Brilliantly funny."
"Review" by , "So freaking funny you'll be out of breath."
"Synopsis" by , In this eagerly anticipated follow-up to Me Write Book, Bigfoot returns from exile to share his inspiring, hilarious, and often deeply disturbing experiences as a misunderstood forest gentleman and tragic media darling. Illustrated.
"Synopsis" by ,
In his eagerly anticipated follow-up to Me Write Book, Bigfoot returns from exile to share his inspiring, hilarious, and often deeply disturbing experiences as a misunderstood forest gentleman and tragic media darling. These entertaining and often grizzly stories stand not only as a testament to the greatness of the legendary man-beast, but also as a chilling cautionary tale of the downside of a life of celebrity, cannibalism, celebrity cannibalism, wanton violence, and lack of toilet training. As in Me Write Book, full-color glossy spreads depict every intimate, disgusting, and downright insane moment of Bigfoot’s life. Bigfoot: I Not Dead is an unforgettable memoir that will stay with readers long after his foul scent has dissipated.
