Among knitters, it is widely acknowledged that Elizabeth Zimmerman is a genius. Her simple, common sense, humorous, yet creative approach to this craft has endeared her to many. This book offers a pattern that for each month for a full year of knitting. Herein are some of her best patterns: the simple baby sweater, the Aran sweater (knitted in the round!), as well as others. Elizabeth's instructions (which are delivered in a far more relaxed fashion than the typical commercial pattern) encourage readers/knitters to make their own modifications and explore their own creativity. I highly recommend this and all her book!

I first used this book several years ago. I loved it then, because it encouraged creativity in my knitting. Some where along the years it disappeared from my library and I'm delighted to be able to replace it. I learned so much from this author.
