Okay, so my husband and I are around 50 years old and he's an attorney, a very busy one, and getting him to read any fiction is a difficult sell unless it's war history, and even then he doesn't have much time for that. The first two books in this series were recommended by our daughter. We read those out loud together just before going to sleep. We didn't watch TV during that "wind down" time which is so precious and limited- we read these books instead, and we speculated on which way the rest of the story, "Reached" would go. We are looking forward to finding out. This is the first YA he's read since he was a kid, and the time spent was worth it. There is no higher praise for a compelling storyline and storyteller than that, IMHO.
