Two boys meet as strangers. One hails the other, who is cautious. The first persists. The other responds. Gradually they begin to talk and end up as friends.

Chris Raschka received the Caldecott Medal for The Hello, Goodbye Window and a Caldecott Honor for Yo! Yes?. He has written and/or illustrated numerous books for children, among them three by bell hooks. He lives with his wife and son in New York City.

I read this book to kids who range between 14 months and 2 years old and each one of them love it. This book is a really great one and is easy for this age to get into. I love it too. It is so awesome to sit and read and after each page the kids are repeating each word.
