I may be in my 60s, but good lit is good lit no matter what your age! While these books were written towards young adults and teens, the characters and scenes are alive for any reader and the themes and issues are universal, yet written so masterfully to fit the settings of Katniss and her cast. It was very hard to put them down.

I love love love this series! I am eager to read Battle Royal which I hear was the inspiration for the Hunger Games series. Great character development, great story. I didn't want to put it down!

I really loved these books! I enjoyed reading these because they were so different than any others I had read before, and they made you think about the possibility of something like that really happening.
