All 3 of my kids learned to read and loved doing it with this simple, clever book! Good memories cam back to me when I saw the page. I recommend it very highly!!

My 4 1/2 year old son begs to "do his lesson" every morning--he wants to do 3 lessons a day!! We are on lesson 34 and he is already reading fairly quickly. He has learned to sound out words in his head before he says them aloud. He loves to read and I owe it to this book. When we are finished with the reading, we are going to try Mr. Engelmann's math book. I would recommend this book to any mom (or dad) who wants to give their child a head start with the gift of reading.
