Synopses & Reviews

Publisher Comments:

Jeff Winston, forty-three, didn't know he was a replayer until he died and woke up twenty-five years younger in his college dorm room; he lived another life. And died again. And lived again and died again — in a continuous twenty-five-year cycle — each time starting from scratch at the age of eighteen to reclaim lost loves, remedy past mistakes, or make a fortune in the stock market. A novel of gripping adventure, romance, and fascinating speculation on the nature of time, Replay asks the question: "What if you could live your life over again?"

When a friend loaned me this book, I didn't think I would like it much. Ho hum. A story about a guy who dies over and over. But within a few pages, the author changed my mind. :) What sounds like a rather trite story line is anything but. The author adds some new twists to questions that are anything but new, and his writing style is enjoyable. Try this book! You will like it. Really :)

How would you like to live your life over and over again, retaining your knowledge and experience? What would you do? Would you make the same choices? Would you grow tired of living or be energized by the opportunities? This is a fun, cranial, moving story that I've recommended to my friends. Every single person has come back with awe in their eyes and a thank you on their lips! I am a voracious reader and this is one of my favorite books of all time!
