About the Author

Margaret Peterson Haddix is the author of many critically and popularly acclaimed YA and middle-grade novels, including The Missing series and the Shadow Children series. A graduate of Miami University (of Ohio), she worked for several years as a reporter for The Indianapolis News. She also taught at the Danville (Illinois) Area Community College. this book is one of the greatist books i ever read i read all shadow children series thy are nothing like this book you know what im going to read it again in a couple of minutes.

I'm reading Amoung the Hidden right now. So far, this is the best book I have ever read. Yesterday, I bought the series up to #6 at Barnes and Noble. I am in 3rd grade. I just moved to a new school in Midland, Texas and started reading the book. I really hope I win because I enjoy these books a lot.

Margaret Haddix is a great author. These shawdow children books are unbelievably good. She takes a lot of time to write these for readers. I just want to say thanks for writing good books that I can enjoy.
